Mixed at: Gone Gator One, Los Angeles, CA and The Village Recorder, Los Angeles, CA (MCA Records) David A. Stewart appears courtesy of RCA Records "That was while we were doing Southern Accents," Mike says. "During the Dark Period. Dave Stewart came along and he had this track he had originally offered to Stevie Nicks. I guess she balked at doing it. Tom heard it and said, 'Well, I'll do it.' Maybe just to piss her off. One thing led to another. Near the end of the recording process we said, this isn't really lifting up, we should have the band double time the tempo. It really took off. The band worked only internally for so long that we were getting stale, and Dave injected a new excitement into it." The promotional music video was directed by Jeff Stein. | Appears On | |
